“Such a great way to read and understand contemporary Chinese sci-fi writing - from informative essays to stories about robots, psychics, time travel, and everything in between and beyond this compilation truly highlights and represents a diverse and breathtaking journey into new ideas, new concepts, and new ways of ontology via Chinese concepts of sci-fi which often feels like it blurs boundaries and genres and also has a rich lineage with Chinese culture and history in a way western sci-fi cannot do. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something a little different and a little unique - but definitely not necessarily a book if you’ve already got a settled idea of what sci-fi is to you.”
