“Broken Dove completely took me by surprise. While it starts a little slowly, once the story finds its footing it becomes impossible to put down. The pacing builds beautifully, leading to an ending that genuinely left me breathless.
The love triangle is intense and incredibly well done - I still don’t know who I want to win, and that tension kept me fully invested throughout. There were several moments that nearly brought me to tears, which is always a sign of how emotionally connected I felt to the characters.
Xavier is an absolute standout; easily my favourite character and the kind of best friend anyone would be lucky to have.
Not quite a full five stars for me - Silver Elite still holds that spot - but Broken Dove comes very close. A powerful, emotional read, and I’m desperate for more.”
