Born of Blood and Ash (Flesh and Fire, #4) Reviews

4.0
“I loved this series but I hate this book. Mostly because it finally gets interesting/picks up at the halfway point, and that's not okay for a +700 page book. But the other part is the repetitive smut. Now I don't mind smut, but this book is 25% smut (if not more) and none of it drives the plot. I don't remember the other books being dragging but it's been a while since I read them. After the halfway point it finally became an enjoyable read. I have so much time invested in this prequal series and the main series so I pushed through the first half. One can only hope the next book from the main series will not drag as much as this one.”
“I fear this book could have been shorter”
“Very good ending to the prequel series! I liked this series better than FBAA, but I think you need to read the other series to fully be immersed in this one. I switched back and forth between the two series and thought that added to the experience!”
