“First of all, his mother is a saint!!!
One of the things I really enjoyed was how Trevor was able to showcase the cruelty and affects of the apartheid yet still be funny about it. His comedy doesn't erase or diminish what needs to be taken seriously, but rather let's us know we can take a moment and laugh at the absurdity of it. Poke fun at the holes in the "logic" of it. I've learned a lot about South Africa and who Trevor Noah is as a person. And even though he never explicitly says it, laughter and a good sense of humor is a great way to process the trauma. His type of humor is clever. I like it.”
