Booked for the Holidays
ByPublisher Description
It’s not a winter wonderland, but the holidays are always special in small town Park Cove, Florida. This year has the chance to be even more memorable.
When a big time magazine offers an incentive of $100,000 for the most festive, best decorated store on the busy local avenue, bookstore owner Bridget Boylston is eager for the jolly task. The gleam of a potentially very merry Christmas fades quickly, though, when she finds out they have paired her with her grumpy next door shop neighbor, Theo Gardner, for the competition.
Bridget is certain their plan is heading for disaster until Theo slowly inches into her life. He takes Bridget to find the perfect Christmas trees, helps hang colorful lights, and introduces her to his daughter. And, what’s worse, he’s devastating when he smiles, showing Bridget there’s more to the Grinch than meets the eye.
As the contest heats up, so do Bridget and Theo. Their theme might be ‘Home for the Holidays,’ but along the way they learn home might be a person, too.

“I dont think its a book for teenagers , maybe for Young adults. Some scenes where just too much for me. But bal Khabra wrote some good books, wouldn’t judge her for that.”

“I think first of all this book is not for teenagers, I got it as a gift so I didn’t know but really if ur under 20 maybe its not for you. I couldn’t really see myself in these characters and was just not bonding with them. The story overall is good, I still enjoyed it. In my opinion some scenes were a bit too much nonsense or not necessary scenes. But I’m still going to read Bal Khabras Books because I loved some other ones.”

“The first few chapters for me was a bit of a slow start, but after that I blew through it in two days. The characters are believable and develop and change as the book continues. I absolutely LOVE these characters because not only do them seem real but they also communicate their feelings to each other from the very start. Would definitely recommend this book!”
