“SO CUTE. Henry is quickly becoming one of my favorite romance authors. This one was clever and unique and I loved the twist on the classic small-town opposites romance trope. I think Charlie and Nora had some of the best, most realistic, addictive banter i’ve ever read before. Something that stood out to me was that important decisions in life can be very hard sometimes when you feel like you’ll have to compromise no matter what in order to do what feels right for you. I think that’s a huge theme of this book; letting go of some of the things you’ve been holding onto for the better. It’s easy to let grief and pain follow you around and to act on things with those emotions in mind. It’s difficult to let yourself realize that maybe what you’ve been doing all along isn’t the right thing, it just the easy thing. Sometimes you have to push through the pain and make the difficult decision to get to the other side and realize that everything happens for a reason. I thoroughly enjoyed the imagery, the comedy, and the utter realness of this story. Another 10/10 from Emily Henry.”
