“Utterly fascinating! Completely accessible to middle grade readers, this book gives a fascinating account of the men behind the discoveries, their driving passions and the heated rivalry that spurred them on to make some of the greatest discoveries of dinosaurs made for compelling reading.
Each man was explored as the timelines blew along, with new sites being located in remote and inaccessible areas. The writing style is informative and interesting in equal measure, I found myself drawn in, learning facts about the men,, history and dinosaurs that I hadn't known.
Wonderfully illustrated with dinosaurs, landscapes and the men in question, it added to the pleasure of reading this book.
A great read for budding palaeontologists.
