“Master will be pleased when reading! Bloodbag is an intense novella of just 93 pages but it is packed with action and world building. Kailey Alessi does an exceptional job of packing in so much into such a small amount of pages. This doesn’t at all feel like it is too much or that the novella is overdone. It is a perfect amount of storytelling for a world which is surely going to bring a lot of entertainment to the reader. At its core, this seems to be a story of loss and slavery but it is much more. It is steeped in heart, character growth, ambition and forward thinking. There is something for everyone that is a fantasy fan in the short amount of pages, whether that be vampires, fight scenes, spicy scenes or almost poetic storytelling. Bloodbag is a fantastic novella that surprised me with its depth. Kailey Alessi is one to watch!”
“This is a prequel so we get a quick introduction to a world where vampires rule and humans are slaves/pets. There are those like the main character Tobias who believe that humans should he treated as equals and respected, and others who only see humans as a meal. Overall an interesting approach to the popular vampire trope.”

“This was SUCH a good book - it’s 0.5 of the series, the next one being Cry of Fangs which I can’t wait to read”
