“I had way higher hopes for this based on the synopsis, but that's not the book's fault. I like how a lot of questions were asked and near the end one by one they were answered. There was a lot of continuous mystery. The end grossed me out tho, there is no coming back from that.
All in all a nice read that had a lot of potential, especially if the author would've leaned into the mega church of it all, but looking back I feel like a lot of opportunities were missed.”
