“This was quite an interesting book. It started off pretty slow as we got into the plot and the mind of the protagonist, but it definitely picked up after the first half. The last third or fourth was action-packed and suspenseful, keeping me on the edge of my seat, and the plot twist left me gutted. In terms of atmosphere, it very much reminded me of The Stranger by Albert Camus in the way the protagonist thinks and acts. Overall, a bit of a slow start, but worth checking out in my opinion.”
