Blood Hunt: A Female Rage Novel
ByPublisher Description
Cursed.
Cursed to avenge witchkind.
Cursed to wreak wrath and destruction upon all men.
Cursed to be alone until the creature lurking beneath Bronya’s skin is sated.
That is until fate entwines the path of Bronya, the Strzyga, and Lord Rokuro of Lapis.
Men. Men have created an inhospitable world where witch blood is a currency and a commodity. For the last century, witches have been hunted, imprisoned and bled for the magical properties of their blood. Witch blood can be used to imbue metal, strengthen muscle, heal the wounded and grow substantial crops.
As a small child, when her small coven are brutalized and captured, Bronya endures a curse so profound it will change the course of Eldora. A curse to wreak revenge on all men for the atrocities they have inflicted upon the race of witches.
After a century enduring her lonely, and yet, blood thirsty existence, Bronya finally wishes to end the tyrannical reign of Lord Warrock of Raikin City and his battalions of witch hunters. Her single hope - to finally free witchkind. However, when Bronya becomes the one witch in all of Eldora, Lord Warrock needs and hunts, fate steps in and changes the course of her journey to redemption and release, and puts in her path a single man that will either heal her or destroy her.
The Female Rage Series
A standalone high-stakes, enemies-to-lovers fantasy series that blends heart-pounding action with slow-burn romance that could very well destroy the world. The Female Rage series features high fantasy, rich political intrigue, dangerous magic, and fierce relationships. At its core, this series explores the power of women, female rage, and the consequences of underestimating us.
Each standalone novel hosts new fantasy worlds and universes, epic magical systems, fantastic creatures, lethal enemies to lovers and how love can bloom even between the most unlikely of partners — and how that love might be their ultimate undoing.
As the author, I’ve been yearning for FMCs who are not afraid of men. Who are the villains and heroes of their own stories. I wanted to read ruthless women who stand up to the patriarchy and laugh at the tears they collect from the men they destroy. Blood Hunt is the first standalone story in this series – and believe when I say I have many, many more.
Stay tuned for the next novel, releasing later this year.

“This book is a Romantasy mixed with a monster movie. I must have more of this.
Bronya is a witch cursed from an early age to take vengeance upon the kingdom of man. Her curse turns her into a snarling monster with claws and sharp teeth, which rip and shred upon the men who do harm to her fellow witches.
Along her way to exact revenge, she comes across a man who has her conflicted. Will she let him in and fall in love, or will she kill him for vengeance?”
“When the author calls this a female rage novel… she truly means it 🔥
This is not soft rage.
This is not aesthetic anger.
This is generational, bone deep, centuries old rage.
And I felt it.
From the very first chapters, there is this heavy atmosphere. You can feel the injustice. You can feel the exhaustion. You can feel what it means to live in a world where women are not safe and witches are hunted.
It is dark. It is violent. It is not comfortable. And it is not supposed to be.
The FMC, Bronya, is not written to be likable in a traditional way. She is angry. She is brutal. She is tired. And I loved that. Her rage feels earned. Nothing about her feels performative.
The MMC, Rok, surprised me in the best way. He is not there to overpower her energy. He does not “fix” her. Their dynamic is slow, tense, and emotionally layered.
This is real enemies to lovers. Not playful banter. Real mistrust. Real emotional walls.
What really worked for me was the emotional progression. Nothing shifts overnight. Trust builds slowly. Warmth builds slowly. It felt grounded, even in a dark fantasy setting.
The dual POV added so much depth. Seeing both sides made the tension richer and the emotional payoff stronger.
The spice 🌶️
Perfectly balanced. When it’s there, it hits. But it never overshadows the emotional arc.
This book made me feel angry. Sad. Empowered. Heavy. And hopeful at the same time.
The only reason it’s not a full five stars for me is that I personally wished one key moment at the end had been shown instead of implied. I wanted to sit in that final catharsis a little longer.
But overall, this was dark fantasy with teeth.
If you love
Monstrous feminine energy
Earned romance
Slow emotional thaw
Morally complex dynamics
And stories that let women be furious
You should absolutely try this 🤯🖤”
“3.75 ⭐️/ 2.5🌶️
This was a tough one for me to review because there’s genuinely a lot of good in this book.
For me, the story felt split in two. The first half was quite difficult to get into. We follow an FMC who is a cursed witch, isolated and alone for over a hundred years. She’s hardened by what she’s endured — which I completely understand may have been intentional — but I found parts of the early writing overly descriptive and somewhat repetitive. At times it frustrated me enough that I considered DNF’ing (though I did go in completely blind, which may have influenced that experience).
However, as the story progressed, things really began to even out. The political elements started to surface more clearly, the pacing improved, and the character development deepened. You begin to truly understand the FMC’s hurt, loneliness, and long-held anger. That emotional weight adds real substance to the narrative.
There’s a strong thread of journey and self understanding running through the story not just within the plot itself, but for the characters. I absolutely adored the final 35%; everything felt smoother, more cohesive, and emotionally impactful.
Overall, I think I would have enjoyed it even more if the political tension had been developed earlier and more evenly from both sides. That said, it absolutely delivers on what it promises: female rage, spice, politics, and fantasy.
I’m very interested to see how the author grows from here, and I would definitely read more of their work.”
