Blood & Honey Reviews

“This book was good but not as good as the first book. But honestly, this is just the curse of the second book. While I read through this book, it felt more like a filler novel honestly. Like mostly just running away and living as fugitives and trying to form alliances. OH! And a small saving célie mission lodged in near the end. Like it wasn’t very eventful in my opinion. The author could’ve shortened this book into a few chapters imo. I’m just hoping the last book will be better. This book honestly made me hate célie so much more.. like I know she went through trauma but she’s actually such a whiny piece of crap. Like so annoying. “Oh look at me!!! I’m so delicate and pretty!” Stfu. Really. And Jean luc going after her secondhand arse is so desperate and pathetic. He wanted to be Reid so badly that it was embarrassing. Reid is a saint for forgiving him. I did like the plot twist when Claud turned out to be a god that used to date Morgane and loved her. Like omg??? I hope he becomes Lou’s symbolic dad because the archbishop wasn’t that good of one. And when ansel died???? My soul died with him oml. Poor ansel he didn’t deserve any of this. Like he was the only sunshine character and my favorite side character. Like Morgane really couldn’t have just killed off célie and Jean luc? Really? But the fact that célie was in a “mirrored tomb” aka next to her “mirror”—her sister’s half decayed body—was pretty gnarly.”
