Under the guidance of their front man, Philip Tonka, the Danes embark on a harrowing journey through the scorching desert—a trip that takes Tonka into the heart of an ominous and twisted conspiracy.
“This book is quite a trip! The story of disillusioned post-WW2 entertainment soldiers returning for one last mission is a bit of a slow burner, but it burns in a kaleidoscope of colors. The narrative, characters, plot, and setting begins to run like over heated wax, and plays a haunting melody like that partially melted record playing a song you still barely recognize.”
