“buku ini merupakan karya bapak stephen hawking pertama yang aku baca, sebelumnya aku cukup penasaran dengan beliau karena aku menonton banyak gagasannya di banyak video yang aku liat di youtube serta salah satu buku biografi anak yang membahas tentang bapak stephen hawking ini, makanya aku memutuskan untuk membaca salah satu karyanya yang ini terlebih dahulu..
buku ini seperti buku autobiografi yang menceritakan kisah bapak stephen hawking yang kemudian diiringi bab bab yang menjelaskan banyak gagasan mengenai alam semesta itu sendiri dari sudut pandang bidang fisika, mulai dari bagaimana alam semesta terbentuk, serta gagasan gagasan terkait adanya alam semesta dan juga lubang hitam sampai lubang putih serta diakhiri dengan percakapan wawancara stephen hawking yang diabadikan di buku ini..
over all aku suka banget dengan buku ini, menurut aku penyajian buku ini cukup ringan dan mudah dipahami bagi siapapun yang ingin membaca buku ini.. jujur setelah aku baca buku ini semakin rasanya pengen mengetahui ada apa si sebenernya di lubang hitam itu sendiri?, apakah kita akan keluar dalam lubang putih kemudian terdampar di kehidupan lain dan tak bisa kembali ke alam semesta dimana kita berasal? ataukah kita akan hancur berkeping2 saat masuk lubang hitam?.. entahlah tapi buku ini seperti menjadi landasan untuk membuat kita merasa lebih penasaran akan apa yang ada dalam lubang hitam sendiri..”

About Stephen Hawking
Stephen Hawking was the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge for thirty years and the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the Presidential Medal of Freedom. His books for the general reader include My Brief History, the classic A Brief History of Time, the essay collection Black Holes and Baby Universes, The Universe in a Nutshell, and, with Leonard Mlodinow, A Briefer History of Time and The Grand Design. Stephen Hawking died in 2018.
