“After reading the summary of the book I really believed that all the pages we’re going to be specifically about billy summers getting ready for the big shoot moment. But it ended up occupying only the first 200 pages, I was given more than my expectations. I loved the neighbors, the flourishing relationship between the man that kills bad people and the children that consider him like a best friend who they can play monopoly with. The first pages of the book that billy was writing, even if it were just loose thoughts since he was writing with his “silly side”. Trough out the story he creates a connection that is not lush but simply fondness and affection. They fought together until when you were predicting the next step, they are no longer together. The end was something surprising since I only understood what truly had happened afterwards. Because before I knew about the death of billy I was maybe a bit angry at him for actually running away (I know it was to protect Alicia) but still I was discontent. The book came to an end where billy didn’t die and was living freely. I had to reread the last 2 pages 3 times to understand what had happened. I laughed and smiled at the book several times and I felt hugged during the whole writing. I wasn’t capable of giving this book 5 stars since I can’t dissimulate what I didn’t felt during some moments. Something’s is still missing and I’m ready to find it on the next read by Stephen king!”Micha
