Thinking Face“Similitudes con “Cien años de soledad” de Garcia Marquez (Macondo vs Halimunda) - el realismo mágico queda plasmado. Al igual que Marquez, entiendo que el autor busca mostrar los problemas sociales y políticos de Indonesia y sus guerras en los años 50, y consigue mostrar la violencia de manera más cercana gracias a los personajes. Como a todos los que hemos leído esta historia, creo que lo que más cuesta tragar es la cantidad de violaciones “innecesarias” que ocurren en el libro, aunque bien está decir que en realidad, la cultura de la violación es algo presente en nuestras vidas, y que en zonas pobres del continente asiático, es una realidad diaria. Lo he disfrutado, no me parece que escriba de manera violenta para impactar, si no para tomarlo como algo natural.”
