Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“I enjoyed these takes on the typical fairy tales. The characters were likeable and the stories contained the essence of the original stories and also managed to incorporate new elements and change the story, but in a way that continues to make sense and was satisfying.”
Expressionless Face“I enjoyed the diversity presented in these rewritten tales. But I find it insulting that the author only took European tales and put them in foreign settings rather than finding indigenous folke tales and stories to present (as these are underrepresented and never talked about).”
