“I didn't love the fact that so many of these stories had no ending. All in all, decent short stories but I prefer sci fi stories that don't end on an unfufilling cliff hanger.”

If you want to talk about swamp monsters in comics, kaiju film, Icelandic sagas, or biplanes, good luck getting a word in edgewise.

Her debut novel, Don’t Hate the Player, released in 2021.

Rachel Rutherford

Rachel Rutherford developed a passion for writing throughout her time attending comic conventions and diving into the world of graphic novels later in life. An Executive Legal Assistant by day, she found a creative outlet through fiction. Rachel was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, and now calls Detroit her home.

Max Winter

Max Winter is the pen name of producer Chris Goldberg, founder of Winterlight Pictures. A former literary scout for 20th Century Fox, Chris was involved in the rights deals on Gone Girl, The Martian, and The Fault in Our Stars, all of which were #1 New York Times bestsellers and #1 at the box office. He wrote “Retro” one night on his phone when he couldn’t sleep.
