““But boys. Men. I was looking at them all the time. Trying to see into them. Which was the rotten one? Or were they all rotten? If I didn’t know which one to fear, how could I keep from fearing them all?”
-(Are You in the House Alone?) Richard Peck
I picked this book up for a dollar. It wasn’t really what I thought it would be, but I guess that’s what I get for never reading a synopsis before starting a book lol. To be honest, I was shocked that a man wrote this in the ‘70s. It was a quick read, but pretty heavy and frustrating.”
