“I like the message of this short story, but i didn’t love the overall story. I’m glad i read it, it was definitely something out of my comfort zone. The writing really wasn’t as difficult to read as one would think. It is definitely more refined than today’s average book but once you get into a rhythm, it’s really easy to read. For someone trying to read more classics, this is a great starting point.”
“This book was a very quick read! I read this on my kindle, and happened to finish in 1 1/2 days. I absolutely did not like this book, because the book is definitely repetitive, especially in chapter one and two. The terminology was so confusing. And what I mean by this, is that, in this world there is no possession in someone’s name. It is only we, our, their, they. So, I sometimes would have to really take a step back and determine if it’s a group of people or just one person. I do get the concept of the book and what the author was trying do. However, I do feel like the author could have done a better job at expressing that. What I mean by this, is she could’ve reworded and went in depth a little more without being repetitive or confusing. Overall this book was a hard read, but hey; at least that’s one book crossed off my goal list!”
