“I read this years ago for the first time but have read it many times after. When I was exploring my sexuality and my gender orientation before I came out as a transgender man I read a lot of sapphic love story's and this one has always stuck with me. I read it again and again over the years and it's still a book that holds up now even though it's from the 80s.
It's the story of sweet innocent first love between two girls. It does have a happy ending thankfully as a lot of other sapphic books I've read don't haha!
I think this book should be read by everyone in the LGBTQ+ community. It feels all too familiar story that we have all felt in our lives.”
