About Pamela Thomas

About the Author

As a mother of three, Pamela Thomas is an avid fan of children’s literature. She enjoys playing with her imagination and combining fantasy with childlike adventure, which is how Anna’s Adventure was born. She and her husband Doug reside in Canby just south of Portland, Oregon. Pam multitasks a busy family, working part-time and enjoys volunteer work to support both her community and her spirituality. During her “free time” she is a playwright, an author and has acted in theatre.  Whenever she gets the chance she indulges in reading books, eating chocolate, watching movies, afternoon naps, and spending time with her friends and family.

About the Illustrator

Connie Valesano lives in Albany, Oregon with her husband Wade where she homeschools her five children.  She has a degree in Elementary Education from Western Oregon University with an Art Teaching Minor.  She enjoys working with children, camping, gardening, and teaching art to people of any age.  But most of all she loves to watercolor.  She likes learning new techniques from other artists during classes and workshops.  One of her paintings was featured in the American Diabetic Association calendar for March 2006.  She sells note cards and prints on line and at local venues.
