Anirdh Talwar Reviews

3.5
“Forbidden love makes sense only when you yourself face those situations. I believe steamy romances are hard to write because you have to be bold but at the same time make sure that your readers connect with your plot and setting. Anushka has done commendable job in bringing the story out this beautifully. The characters sketching has been done beautifully and the author has used fast paced narrative style. The gripping and steamy plot is surely a treat for YA lovers. The story could have been a bit lengthy though, otherwise it was a good read for me. Check this out if you like reading steamy romance.”
“Evocative, titillating & exciting Anushka Mehta enthrals you with dreamy and spicy vignettes combined together in a way in which you cannot miss the slightest of a chance of wanting more after every chapter. The plot, strangely neither has a straight beginning nor an end. Revolving around the life of Tanya, an employ at an MNC, the narrator creates a perfect overlap between the lives of Tanya and her boss, the most desired man, Anirudh Talwar. I would lie if I didn’t appreciate the artistic narrative which gave the necessary beginning to a spark between Tanya and Anirudh. Tanya’s failed marriage and Anirudh’s complex marital life and family were a call for their much anticipated connection. “ Our eyes locked, and there was an instant connection.…I could not contain my emotions any longer after hiding them for weeks from everyone, I blurted out everything to Anirudh”. The similarities in the marital lives of Tanya and Anirudh, the reasonable insecurities and spontaneity of the characters set the mood for each chapter, suggesting a tone for a relay of episodes and outbursts with breaks of calm and slow paced events. Without an overarching plot to unite the chapters, the build is found in almost each chapter in the interactions that Anirudh has with Tanya. This also metaphorically depicts the effect of middle class upbringings, and the “Getting settled” and “ Arranged marriage culture” on the present generation. As much as their drive for each other is unparalleled by any of their past experiences, both have their past holding them back whenever they try to settle for a commitment. I think the decisions taken by each of the protagonists to every doubt they encounter is very much justified without mention of overbearing details and explanations. All in all, what I liked the best was that every chapter including the last, each of them, climaxed with open endings which made the plot twists more relatable and exciting. The narrative is relatable and evocative rather than explicit and overbearing, and the tone is inquisitive throughout akin to present day issues and mind-setting.”
“✨This is a short and beautiful love story that happened unknowingly with two beautiful souls. I like the plot line of the story, it's really interesting to read and from start to end there is no gap, I just enjoyed the fast phase of the story. The language is just simple to understand and some of the phases are very well written in this book. ✨This book is all about Anirudh and Tanya. Tanya comes from a middle-class family and she is a married woman who is not happy with her husband because he doesn't give her what she wants and he is not interested also. She works at Anirudh company where he is the Ceo of the company. There is always attraction between these two characters and one day they hit off with each.. Tanya felt guilty about that but she can't resist Anirudh. They started to spend time with each other, every time she is with him, she falls for him but Anirudh is a clear-minded person he doesn't want any relationship and all just he is having fun with her but soon he get to know he also falls for her. ✨What happens after that? What are Anirudh's intentions for Tanya? He comes from a rich family and he is not good in relationships at all. What will happen after that.. Read this book to find out about these guys. ✨I like the way this story is ended and it's ended pretty well and I'm so excited to see what is going to happen after that... How much effort Anirudh will put into his relationship with Tanya? Need to read that soon. ✨Liked it totally check out this book, guys”
“Tanya is back in her office after her wedding. She is not sure how she should feel. Everyone is congratulating her but all she can think is that her marriage hasn't been consummated yet. She is confused, doesn't know how to go on, and doesn't know whom to share it with. That's when she sees her boss Anirudh Talwar, who is the CEO and is very intimidating. She is attracted to him but so are all the women in Delhi. He can have anyone. What she isn't aware of, Anirudh likes her as much. He has feeling for her which goes beyond a minor crush. One evening, they work past the night hour when he offers to take her to his place to complete the remaining work. At his place, one thing leads to another and they end up sleeping together. The thing I liked in the book was how genuine Anirudh was with Tanya when they were alone. Their chemistry was palpable from the beginning. The way they couldn't keep their hands off each other made you want to read faster. The thing that irked me the most was her reaction to the revelation that her husband is gay. It was too bland and it was discussed in less than 2 pages. They should have talked and done something. The story ends on a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds. If you are looking forward to a short and steamy read, where the characters are written realistically you should pick this book”
“This book is a tale of love and obsession, covering all possible aspects of love and the trauma it can bring with it. Love is beautiful, but being obsessed with it can be harmful. And that's bitter, but the truth. The book is a very short read. It can be easily completed in one sitting. Though it has a disadvantage too, that certain events have been wound up quite too quickly, which could have been better portrayed by the author. The author's writing is no doubt, clear and simple. Overall, it's a fast-track read with various elements of love, passion, thrill, mystery, and obviously romance. Though I'm still looking for a sequel to know in detail what happened in the end actually.”
