“This book is very dark but fascinating. There is a lot of disturbing things going on throughout it. If you like Charles de Lint understand this isn’t his usual story. I would recommend it because it makes you think, but be prepared for the evil side of humanity that is displayed throughout the story.”

“I read this as a teenager and have had it on my shelf ever since. I did not remember it being so graphically violent and vicious 😵💫 it’s a really interesting book, but it was hard to stomach all of the atrocious things that were done to some of the female characters.. The ending felt a bit rushed, but the writing was good.”
