“4.5 stars!! After reading a romance book I was missing my morally gray, broody men but no what I got was so much better…. Atakan is TOXIC. Like I am going to try to poison you within the first 5 seconds of the book toxic. True enemies to lovers although I do think the lust came a little too soon for me even though it was technically years later. Besides that, this book was great. My trust issues were really kicking in with this one because I quite literally had no fucking idea who to the true villain was for 85% of the book. The were definitely some things missing in the world building or maybe I just couldn’t comprehend it correctly but other than that this standalone was perfect. I was kicking my feet when atakan was being too stubborn to admit he missed her 😭 and we LOVE a good throne scene 🤭”Lindsey Collins
