“I hoped to enjoy this more as it was recommended from a friend, but I found it lacking. The stakes didn’t appear until (literally) halfway through the book, and I felt like the author only had a solid grasp on 2 of 4 characters. There are some really beautiful lines in here, but I don’t know if that makes up for the lack of plot. Not bad, but I’ve definitely read better.”Julia Bledsoe
