“Really disappointing. The story is less about the relationship of Aven and Caddy and more about their adventures in the coast guard. It jumps from casually dating to getting married in 1 chapter. There is very little relationship development, which is really needed. It seems like the author was so busy with the plot and adding in their spiritual development that she forgot that Aven and Caddie are is the beginning of their relationship and it wasn't grown as well as it should be.”
