All's Well That Ends Well

By Vivian Kasley & Candace Nola
All's Well That Ends Well by Vivian Kasley & Candace Nola digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

In this collection of wickedly imaginative dark tales, you'll discover what sometimes lurks beneath the seemingly ordinary. An old man with a grudge who wants a peaceful night's sleep decides to take matters into his own hands. A mermaid is captured, imprisoned, and forced to entertain at children's parties. A porch pirate learns a terrifying lesson. A woman who suspects her husband is cheating hires a private detective, but gets way more than she bargained for. A daughter watching her father be consumed by cancer makes a daring deal with a nefarious being that comes back to haunt her.

All this and much more from a collection compiled to make you uncomfortable in the comfort of wherever you'll be reading them from. All that's left to do now, dear readers, is open the book and watch nightmares come to life.

All's Well That Ends Well Reviews

“Ghosts? Goblins? Aliens? And a being made of someone’s skin tags? This horror short story collection has it all! One thing that I found while reading All’s Well that Ends Well is that between the short stories there is SO much variety, which is something I think a horror short story collection needs. However, with multiple stories also comes the challenge of rating the book as a whole. Some of the short stories I *really* loved (Canned Tuna, Squid Ink, and Wild, Wild, West) to name a couple! And there were some that weren’t particularly my cup of tea (Dead deception, heart shaped box, and Porch Pirates.) So this book sits at a solid 3.25 stars for me, if you’re looking for a book that covers everything from Mermaids to a tattoo artist that reads your soul, I highly recommend All’s Well that Ends Well! Variety is certainly the spice of life in this book, and with the stories being anywhere from 10-20 pages long it is a very fun read! I definitely suggest picking this book up when it releases on October 31st if you need some scary stories to delve into the end of spooky season with that is targeted towards adults! Thank you to NetGalley and Brigids Gate Press for an early ebook copy of All’s Well that Ends well in exchange for an honest review!”
“As with almost any short story collection, some of these stories were very relatable or enjoyable, and others did not hit the mark for me. While I love the beautiful pulpy cover and see the tie ins, most of the stories in the book don't really fit with the cover. An overall enjoyable collection, but I don't think any of these stories are going to stick with me for too long. I would be interested in reading more from this author once they have further honed their craft. I recommend to individuals who enjoy horror short story collections, with a warning of misogyny. Thank you to NetGalley for an eARC of this novel.”
“4.25 ⭐

This was a cracking horror anthology by a great author that I will definitely be reading more of!

This book contains 18 short stories (10-20 pages) from all different horror genres. From body horror to gore, werewolves to mermaids and demonic appliances to death himself. This book has something for every horror fan.

My favourites were Canned Tuna, Squid's Ink and Heart Shaped Box but there weren't any that I didn't enjoy.

I don't want to say too much as I really liked that I went in blind to each story as it kept me guessing and feeling on edge. I'd just highly recommend picking it up if you're a fan of horror collections!

Thank you to NetGalley and Brigids Gate Press for the E-ARC! I really enjoyed it!

”
