All the Rage by Cara Hunter digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

“Fantastic...my favorite series ever!” --Shari Lapena, New York Times bestselling author of The Couple Next Door

From Cara Hunter, the New York Times bestselling author of Murder in the Family, comes the fourth novel in her DI Fawley detective series, one of Britain’s most enduringly popular and mega-selling crime series.

After being abducted and assaulted, a teenage girl somehow managed to escape from her captor. She is traumatized and needs to heal, but the police need her help to catch her assailant—information she clearly knows, but is unwilling to give.

Without the girl’s assistance, DI Adam Fawley’s investigation is at a dead end. When another girl vanishes under the same circumstances, he recognizes a disturbing pattern—and a link to something long buried in his past. . .

Surprised Face with Open Mouth“this could actually be my favourite so far. It was very dark, fast paced and full of twists that kept me guessing right until the final page. The writing was excellent and the used of interviews really added to the story. I also loved how quick the pace was and it was a real page turner. The story was engaging and made my heart race! The characters are so good in this series and I feel like I’m actually there solving the case with them: Somer and Everett are such strong female characters, Gislingham is a great detective and I adore Adam. It was especially nice to see more of Adam and Alex - I liked that the case linked back to them and their past. Even though the topics in these books are dark, it’s always enjoyable to follow the characters. The plot in this book was disturbing and at times really difficult to read. It had so many layers and turns that I genuinely had no idea what would happen next. I really enjoyed trying to work out whether there were connections between the girls, between the old case and the new one and coming up with theories about who did what. I definitely did not guess what the reveal would be and I found it shocking! I can’t wait to start the next book!”

“I really enjoyed this book, it was very nicely written and was just full of twists and turns. I generally enjoy Cara Hunters writing style very much. Just wondering, does this mean if the girls hadn’t don’t what they had done, Sasha would have still been attacked at some point by her teacher ? I presume that’s who pov we were reading in the Prologue of the book ? After edit: I just realised that it’s not Sasha mentioned in the prologue, but it’s Alex Fawly back in 1998”
