“Cormac McCarthy is an American treasure. I am blown away by this book. His prose is God's gift to mankind. If you love poetic writing that has deep symbolism and metaphor, then this book is for you. I re-listened to the last 2 hours just to experience it again. I need to read more of his books!”Iigwak

“Love Cormac McCarthy and all he writes. This is maybe a step back from some of his others but still loved it. John Grady Cole is one of my favorite characters from a McCarthy novel.”About Cormac McCarthy
The novels of the American writer, Cormac McCarthy, have received a number of literary awards, including the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, and the National Book Critics Circle Award. His works adapted to film include All the Pretty Horses, The Road, and No Country for Old Men—the latter film receiving four Academy Awards, including the award for Best Picture. He died in 2023.
