All the Little Houses by May Cobb digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

"May Cobb's most explosive book yet. And trust me, that's saying a lot." —Jeneva Rose

"Nobody does explosive and twisted like May Cobb does it." —Lisa Jewell

Adults can behave badly too...

It's the mid-1980s in the tiny town of Longview, Texas. Nellie Anderson, the beautiful daughter of the Anderson family dynasty, has burst onto the scene. She always gets what she wants. What she can't get for herself… well, that's what her mother is for. Because Charleigh Andersen, blond, beautiful, and ruthlessly cunning, remembers all too well having to claw her way to the top. When she was coming of age on the poor side of East Texas, she was a loser, an outcast, humiliated, and shunned by the in-crowd, whose approval she'd so desperately thirsted for. When a prairie-kissed family moves to town, all trad wife, woodworking dad, wholesome daughter vibes, Charleigh's entire self-made social empire threatens to crumble.

Who will be left standing when the dust settles?

From the author of The Hunting Wives comes a deliciously wicked new thriller about mean girls, mean moms, and the delicious secrets inside all the little houses.

All the Little Houses Reviews

“Have i mentioned that I hate cliffhangers. This book wasn’t bad by any means, but was confusing and quite choppy. There was an attempt at “then” and “now” chapters but then it got weird. Like it was unnecessary. So yeah. Not bad, but also not good.”
“34354 of 45k pages Whelp. I only sat down to read the first 100 pages this morning …. And the first 20 I was thinking “this better get better - these characters are insufferable”. Now I’ve read the entire thing 😂 it was 100% trashy, cringey and like watching an accident, I could not stop. And yes, I’ll be reading the next book when she writes it! Ha!”
“This book is a train wreck but in the best way. Terrible people doing terrible things and getting away with it. If you like a book that’s full of scandal, drama oh and murder, this is for you. I’m actually looking forward to the second book and seeing how it all plays out.”
“Another 2.5-2.75 stars The characters are all extremely unlikeable. That might’ve been OK if it had been as “delicious” as it claimed. Somewhere in the back half, it became more entertaining to me, but it never really sucked me in, either. I wanted it to be the juicy, fun summer, beach read. And instead it was mostly thank you, next. It wasn’t enough that I wouldn’t try another book by this author, but it’s also not one I think I’ll remember. Note to friends: Lots of vulgar and crass language. Plenty of sexual dialogue and some open door action.”
