“I know this is unpopular but I got 40% into this book and had to dnf it. The style of writing is an acquired taste and not really my favorite. Feels really choppy and the dialogue is hard to follow at points. I thought the characters were really interesting and think I would’ve loved this book if it was half the length.”

“Really well written story about two strong individuals turning horrible situations into good and dedicating their lives to helping others in need. A beautiful story about strength, hope, and determination. The friendship between Patch and Saint is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Satisfying enough ending, but felt a little rushed considering the rest of the book is so long.
Towards the end of the book was fun when the pieces started falling together and it was giving Shawshank Redemption. Overall, very good read.”
