A virgin fresh out of a chaste relationship with her childhood sweetheart works up the courage to visit a local dance club on her own. The last person she expects to see is her former fiancee in the arms of another man. Crushed she spent so much time on someone incapable of loving her, she finds a side hallway to gather herself. A man in black folds out of the darkness asking if she is lost.
More than a man, the centuries old vampire has settled on Gwen as his snack of the night. His goal is to obtain her consent, seduce her, then bed her. Dimitri is charmed by Gwen’s lack of experience, yet total willingness to fling herself into sexual exploration. She is the one who asks him to leave the dance floor for the BDSM club below ground. She gives herself trustingly to his care, allowing him to punish and pleasure her. And, in the midst of orgasm, bite and bleed her.
When the evening is over Dimitri is reluctant to wipe Gwen’s memory and send her on her way. But he only spends one night with his conquests and the secret of vampires’ existence must be maintained. So it is surprising when he find Gwen waiting to get into the club for a second time. Her memory foggy, but their connection no less intense.
