“I’m so happy this trilogy is complete! I had no idea that the publisher had dropped elle after SOME SHALL BREAK, and I’m late to the party furious! my least favorite thing in the world is when series get cancelled without a resolution, so I’m beyond happy that elle got her finale 🥹 nothing makes me happier than watching two idiots fall in love - and while travis and emma may be the geniuses that the FBI need, they’re genuinely two idiot children I swear!! with self sacrificial tendencies even though they go to therapy? pls 😭 after finding SOME SHALL BREAK a bit predictable and redundant, I’m pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the pacing of this one!! it felt very cathartic for both the author and readers and while I fear it was always going to end up with taking simon down, I loved the way I was still utterly shocked at the events throughout! at absolutely NO point did I know what simon and kristen were going to do next… and that ending was so perfect and beautiful for these characters!! now, a spin off please? rating: 4 stars wine pairing: finger lakes dry rosé”
Surprised Face with Open Mouth“i liked it! i don’t know if i was just busy or if its the fact that i immediately dislike ships once they canonically have sex, but i wasn’t AS enthralled by it as the other two. that being said, it was still really good. those deaths were GRUESOME. it was kind of a lot of travis, though? maybe? i don’t know. no hate. again, it was still super good, minus the fact that simon lived?? sherlock style. anyway. emma is better than me. and someone please just go shoot simon. please.”
