“This true crime thriller had me on the edge of my seat the entire book. I wrote so many theories between the pages and was constantly guessing how everything was going to connect. The last third of the book I was determined to finish before bed because it was creeping me out so much and I still didn’t know what was going to happen. Truly, the plot grabs your attention in a way you can’t put the book down! The author hosts my favorite podcast, Crime Junkies, and similar to the podcast, you shouldn’t read this book alone in the evening if you want to sleep at night (I learned the hard way). The last chapter leaves the reader with such a cliff hanger and the epilogue answers all your questions. This was a complex story with so many details that circled back at the end.”

“The book was good and I wasn’t sure who did it dude until the end, was very shocked. However the book just gives Jo Bennett case. The author is a true crime podcaster so I’m a bit sad that we couldn’t up with something more original.
