“3.5 ⭐️ though this book was better than the second I’m still disappointed. The first book was soooooo good and honestly I think it would have been better if the author just left off at the love story.
My main complaint is that it’s so largely historical instead of historical fiction. If I wanted to know more about their lives I would read biographies. I just wanted it to be more fictitious but it very much wasn’t. I already know a lot about the Hamiltons so I wanted something more made up but just didn’t get that.
I will say I do enjoy this authors writing style and if you don’t already know Hamiltons story these would probably be some fun books for history buffs!
Personally though I wouldn’t have gotten through it were it not for the audiobooks.”
