“this is a creation story. this is the birth of a woman’s identity and all the confusing ups and downs that go with it.
if you need your books to make sense and have a plot you can follow, you’ll be sorely disappointed with this one. but if you want to experience another person’s becoming, be inside their mind for a little while as they philosophize about life and its many complexities, and maybe take something away from it for yourself, then this book is the best way to get there.”K
