“One of my students (4th grade) asked me to read his favorite series so I’m obliging 🙈
For a YA Fantasy it’s a compelling adventure. However, something feels off about the way Mull writes dialogue. I can’t really put my finger on it. But oh well, it’s a YA so I can’t critique too much 😂”
