“This book is in some sense dated and I feel that the dreamlike nature of the text and all events within it would be lost on a lot of people and diminish their enjoyment. The philosophy and the arguably Gnostic-like aspects illustrated within may elude others or be misunderstood entirely.
Thus, even though I consider this to be one of the greatest books I've ever read, I actually would not recommend it to most people. The ending is one of the most astounding I've ever read in any book and it is a real shame to me that the author perished in obscurity.”
