“It seems fate has dealt me the same hand again. I know how to play it.”

A new king is on the throne and the rebellion lies in ruins. Keera spends her days drinking and her nights avoiding the strange dreams that have haunted her since she returned from the capital.

Keera’s family in Myrelinth won’t let her go without a fight. With new intelligence about the magical seals left behind by Keera’s ancient kin, the Light Fae, she rallies to face her demons and unleash the formidable powers she inherited from her people. But a shocking truth is hiding in plain sight, one with the power to unravel the entire rebellion...

The pivotal third installment in the Halfling Saga will upend everything Keera thought she knew about her enemies…and her allies.

Slightly Smiling Face“I don't understand how this book only has 3.5 stars. I wrote a review on this book initially but then realized I had the barns and nobles edition which was a good buy. I enjoyed the pov chapter even though I was really just itching for the next part of the story. Like I said before in my other review I was fighting for my life reading this book. I have never rooted for characters so much before. I cried so hard reading this. It's so good I'm going to pre-order the 4th book soon.”
“First off, I thought this was the final book to this series but it isn’t lol To me, this story it dragged a lot. The romance in it isn’t really that “romantic” at least not for me. There were some chapters that intrigued me and kept me interested but then it would go back to being dragged out with minimal action. There’s no good banter in this, it all just comes off very “serious”. I gave it 3 stars because I liked it enough to finish it but this series hasn’t been anything super great for me. It’s alright.”
“Why did it end that way!! These books are so good. I can’t wait for the next one.”
