“Here Kitty, Kitty…she thought it was her cat.
When the toddler Mayumi goes in search of her lost cat during a snowstorm, she thinks she stumbles upon her cat and grabs him tight; if only she knew the potential danger she put herself in.
Faunus was traversing the forest for his lunch and stumbled upon a human scent, only to realize it was a child. He must make a decision – to eat? Or not to eat? That is the question.
If you want the freakiest FMC of them all, look no further. This book was so spicy; it was like having a bowl of Buldak noodles. Just when you think it can’t get spicier, it does.
This book is hardcore; if it’s your first time branching out of the human realm for something crazier, I would say to reach for the first book in this series and start from there. It’s better to ease your way into romances this unique and intense.
That said, I enjoyed this book. It wasn’t my favorite in the series, but it added meaningful insight into the world. The story explored the humans outside the Veil in more depth and gave a clearer look at the demon slayer guild. It also featured a special appearance from a character I’ve been curious about since the first book—and so much more!
Overall, another great addition to this series.
