“Having read - and loved - most of CJ Tudor's novels I was really excited for this short story collection. However, I found that most of the short stories ended either abruptly or on fairly predictable twists - which suprised me as part of why I enjoy CJ Tudor'swork so much is becauseof her ability to come up with some really great twists. I did quite enjoy the narrative voice of the final short story in the collection, but do feel that it could work better as a novel.”

About C. J. Tudor
C. J. Tudor is the author of The Drift, The Burning Girls, The Other People, The Hiding Place, and The Chalk Man, which won the International Thriller Writers Award for Best First Novel, the Barry Award, and the Strand Critics Award for Best Debut Novel. Over the years she has worked as a copywriter, television presenter, voice-over artist, and dog walker.
