Q: Do I have to buy the ebook to participate in a book club?

No, you don’t have to buy the ebook to participate, but we do recommend it to get the most out of your club. There are several premium social reading features that are only available when you buy the ebook, like annotations, reactions, comment threads, resources, discussion prompts, and more, all embedded right in the text. “Cari Lynn Webb's A Proposal for Her Cowboy is the third book in the Three Springs, Texas series that I've read! And I've loved each of them! Lacey Nash is trying to make up for lost time with her young daughter. She feels guilty that she hasn't been as much of a part of her daughter's life since she's been deployed. She wants to build a stable life and show her daughter that she's worthy of her trust. Caleb Sloan is the only one of his brothers who has not been married yet, but he isn't wanting to change that. He's afraid of commitment but wants to be available to help everyone he cares about. Cari did an incredible job of introducing/reintroducing the main characters at the beginning of this book. The turtle/bull scene was so good! It was so funny and perfectly introduced the personalities of each of the main characters in the book. I also enjoyed how Caleb developed a relationship with Lacey's daughter as well as Lacey. I love it when the MMC is nice to kids! I also love that it shows the importance of family. Overall, this book was so fun and cute! I am so happy that I got the chance to get to know Cari's characters!!! If you enjoy clean contemporary cowboy romances, you should definitely check out A Proposal for Her Cowboy and the rest of the Three Springs, Texas series! I received an advance copy of this book. My opinions are my own. A positive review was not required.”

“"Don’t talk to me about love. Right. Because what would a frivolous, reckless cowboy like me know about something as consequential and enduring as love." I loved this story, it was the first one I had read by Cari, but I am so thankful I was able to read it! Lacey Nash is returning home to finally reconnect with her 9 year old daughter, Aspen. In an effort to make up for lost time, she wants to encourage Aspens love of horses... and that leads to Caleb. Caleb can teach Aspen all she needs to know, and he instantly bonds with Aspen. Caleb was only ever Lacey's childhood friend, but could they have been more? It's not something Lacey has time to consider.The Caleb she knew was never interested in settling down, and she needs someone solid and secure for her and Aspen, IF she was looking. Caleb and Lacey decide it's time for one of their childhood dares...and part of the dare means finding Caleb a date for a wedding. Lacey jumps at the opportunity to set him up. She has no personal interest in him, so why not? Or does she? And when he starts to show he may be considering slowing down (for her) she backs away. She has chosen him a date, and that is that! Or is it? This story is so sweet as you watch Caleb have to consider that maybe he can make an exception to how he's been living, and start to settle down. You get to watch Aspen grow her relationship with her mom, and Caleb. You get to watch Lacey have to consider IF she has room for a relationship and Aspen and IF Caleb is worth the risk? And you even get to watch other romances from their family members blossom in the background. I loved the story! My only critique was that it is a bit of a slow burn, expect the feelings, and things to take while to take off. But hang in there while you are reading it... because once the feelings do start catching on, you are in for a ride! I recieved a copy of this book, but the review was not required and the opinions are my own.”
