A Long Day in Lychford
ByPublisher Description
It's a period of turmoil in Britain, with the country's politicians electing to remove the UK from the European Union, despite ever-increasing evidence that the public no longer supports it. And the small town of Lychford is suffering.
But what can three rural witches do to guard against the unknown? And why are unwary hikers being led over the magical borders by their smartphones' mapping software? And is the immigration question
important enough to kill for?

“I liked the first two novellas better because they had the sense that Lychford wasn't really "apart" of the modern world. It had modern conveniences, but almost seemed like its own bubble with the supernatural and the boundaries. This story broke that for me and now I am stuck putting the magical in the real world conventions. I do wish the magic system was flushed out better. It felt like no one knew what they were doing and the magic just kind of figured itself out. It did not have the suspense/ horror of the other 2”
