“A decent story abut parenthood and identity, this story posits a vampire settling down with a hunter, giving up blood and violence for the PTA. This story has great potential for satire, comparing the safe and humdrum today to a wilder darker before, but instead settles for a bland, wouldn't-it-be-funny vibe. Not bad, but sadly lacking the teeth promised in the title.”
