“I think this is one of my favorite Veronica Speedwell adventures in the whole series. I love the eerie, uncanny valley of the wax-work figure and the mildly gothic elements of trying to reanimate the dead a la Victor Frankenstein.
Veronica and Stoker and their allies are just a great group of characters to follow on a mystery - also their eclectic group of dogs 🐕. So much fun.”Joy Tiff

“This one felt like a “settling in” kind of book. Slower paced, more relaxed… but it also felt like an ending and I thought I read where another one is being worked on? I do so love these characters so I hope so.”
