Publisher Description

Discover the enthralling fantasy world of gods and mortals in bestselling author Scarlett St. Clair's reimagined New Greece. Readers are "hopelessly addicted" to this captivating story of Hades and Persephone.

"Take her, and I will destroy this world. Take her, and I will destroy you. Take her, and I will end us all."

Hades, God of the Underworld, is known for his inflexible rule, luxurious night clubs, and impossible bargains. Used to control, he is not prepared to discover the Fates have chosen his future wife and Queen—Persephone, Goddess of Spring.

Despite her attraction to the god, Persephone, an ambitious journalism student, is determined to expose Hades for his cruel and ruthless ways. She defies him at every turn, even as the attraction between them explodes.

Hades finds himself faced with the impossible—proving his future bride wrong. Regardless of his efforts, there are forces who wish to keep the two apart and Hades comes to realize he will do anything for his forbidden love, even defy Fate.

Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“I preferred this one from Hades pov to the A touch of darkness. More introduction to the gods (which I'm all here for) more hate for Demeter (i mean ffs talk about suffocating your child), love that there's more to hades, that he doesn't show to people. Is there a plot: kind of, is there smutt: Yes but it's nicely written. Although one God needs a mention.... HERMES hahaha he's hilarious lol”
Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes“I fell in love with this book. I really liked the way the author portrayed the characters with a fresh take. I found myself frequently on the edge of my seat, and couldn't stop reading. I fear I may have a bit of a crush on Hades. Maybe it's the bad boy lover in me.”
Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“I enjoyed Hades POV, but must say it seamed very repetitive when reading some time after finishing “Touch of Darkness”. I plan on reading next two books in the series as a tandem. I live the setting and Gods. I find some if them very funny and approachable which I did not expect. Hoping to get to know mire if them.”
Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes“I love how hades was all bout persephone from the get go ,he was just a horn ball for her..😝🥰”
