“In typical Stephen King fashion, this story was creepy as heck! But it was more infuriating than scary.
Dean Evers was recently widowed. As such, he is (finally) learning to live alone and do things for himself. He is adjusting the best he could and normalized a routine of making dinner then watching a baseball game.
During these games he begins to see in the 3rd row behind the umpire, visages of people long ago dead. He believes to be losing his mind and after the first time chalks it up to being a coincidence. But with every new game he watches a new, long gone person of his past shows up, including his wife! Is he dead? Or is he being haunted by spirits of those he wronged?

“Très bonne lecture, prenante en seulement quelques pages ! J'ai toujours du mal à noter les nouvelles très courtes comme celle-ci car j'ai toujours envie d'en savoir plus, d'avoir une histoire un peu plus poussée, mais en même temps, dans ce cas là, je trouve que la longueur est parfaite, l'intrigue est bien menée et n'a pas spécialement besoin de plus.
Je ne peux que conseiller cette nouvelle horrifique d'un de mes auteurs préférés.”
