A Dream of Family Reviews

“A Dream of Family is such a sweet and inspiring story about two people who each have their own personal stories but that are also interwoven together from their pasts. Love Inspired books are always so sweet and easy to read. I can always count on LIS books to be clean and inspiring. I am always sharing about them with friends too. Everyone I know who loves to read needs to read this story plus all LIS books.”
“This is a clean, Christian romance. Molly owns a bookstore that doesn’t seem to be thriving since a big box bookstore moved to the nearest town. She has dreams of adopting and has been going through the process. She is worries this will not come to fruition. Derek buys the coffee store next door. Derek is the one who told her former fiancé not to marry her. He has decided to try and help her to assuage his guilt. Can they get along to make it happen? This story is about forgiveness in many different ways. It also shows how if we cannot forgive it festers in us and blinds us to opportunities. I love the Christian principles in this book. It was a great story. Good characters and storyline. I received an ARC from the author and am leaving an honest review.”
“A cute read. I enjoyed the book store angle and the bit of “You’ve Got Mail” vibe. Grace is adorable and definitely is a scene stealer. I really liked the ending. Fun story.”
“My Rating: 4 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My Review: I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump for some unknown reason and I was hoping a sweet inspirational romance would help pull me out of it. Unfortunately it ended up taking me much longer to read this Love Inspired story, which I can normally finish in a couple days. But in no ways did that impact my enjoyable experience of reading this sweet and inspirational romance. Molly’s love of books and the importance they had to her in her life is what really made me fall in love with the story. Little Grace was so adorable and her interactions with Duke, (Derek’s puppy) made my heart melt. The whole story of Molly owning a struggling book store, really reminded me of the movie, You’ve Got Mail, which is one of my favourite movies of all time. I did find some of the characters thoughts a little repetitive so it wasn’t quite a five star read. The relationships that developed throughout the book we so special. I’ll definitely be checking out more books from Jill Weatherholt and I can’t wait for Searching For Home, which takes place in Whispering Slopes, the cute community that this book was set in.”
