“I really enjoyed this book. It had a very nice pace, a bit slower but in a good way, we got to really know the characters and watch them grow over the book. Even though it wasn’t crazy and action packed, I was never bored, I just kept wanting to read more, as new bits of plot and lore and character development were weaved in every step of the way. Some of the plot elements were predictable but I did not mind at all, I was just excited to see exactly how things would pan out. Other elements I did not predict and were exciting and unexpected. I overall really enjoyed the characters and the chemistry between the fmc and the mmc. I also appreciate that the female main character exhibited both strength and weakness throughout the book and continually conquered new challenges. Her growth wasn’t stagnant and she was very likable for her fiery personality and strong moral compass. This book overall is a great high fantasy/romantasy book and I cannot wait to read more.”
